I just can't get into sushi. I've even had "really good sushi" according to "sushi experts." The gratuitous use of quotes should tell you that I did not agree. Yeah, it's super good for being raw fish, but cook the damn thing and it'll taste just as good or better in a different way. Because I don't like it, I've decided it's a fad and will eventually go out of style when flame comes back in. The only thing I've really enjoyed from a sushi place was a sake bomb. Hmmmm, come to think of it, after a couple or five of those, I was really enjoying the sushi also.

Oh crap, I just remembered the best non sushi sushi I ever had. It was at some upscale sushi joint in Hawaii that served a cuban beef roll of some sort. It had a fried piece of garlic on top, a huge chunk of tender steak in the middle, and some tasty green sauce around it all wrapped up in rice. It was incredibly awesome and worthy of this thread. Nothing else about the restaurant was that fantastic, though. Found the place with google...linky.

And I would've said the job I did on shaving my legs without shaving cream, but I did miss bits. Otherwise, it's really really good.
