Electric boogaloo (sometimes mistakenly referred to as electric boogie) is a style of funk dance and hip hop dance closely related to popping. It became the signature style of the dance group started in the 1970's, the Electric Boogaloos. Along with electric boogaloo they also popularized popping and many of its related styles.
