Ireland's great, it's Dublin really that's the problem It's can be quite dear compared to the rest of the country. Though usually any wage is slightly higher in the city too.

That said half the people in ireland live in dublin so it can't be all that bad (or maybe that's the problem...)

Well obviously I'd want to spend the other seven months within walking distance of Glasgow city centre.

The connections between professional cricket, not caring, Ireland and development are not clear to me.

Right, well you don't, but that's kinda beside the point. Why not play county cricket? I've got plenty of mates who've done it, and they sure ain't professionals.

I meant professional as in he gets paid for it and a nice amount. The level that he plays is the one under the nsw/australian teams (he has nsw/australian players in his team). He is trying to get into the australian team but thats kinda hard when the position he plays is taken by Ricky Ponting. Thats why he has gone to Ireland. It doesn't matter where he goes as long as the pay is the same as what he is getting over here and they are covering his apartment and flights. His bro is over in manchester but his not getting paid any where near what greg is getting.
