Yeah, I do apologise for sounding rude or anything, don't mean to offend, but you don't need a day off to thank God, you can do it in about 5 seconds in your head, I'm sure he'll know how sincere you are (if anyone turns this into another religious debate, I'm gonna )

Same for celebrating survival. You can celebrate it without cooking a huge dinner. Actually, now I think about it... haha, kill a bird of fowl to celebrate human suirvival. I don't really get the whole notion of people spending the whole day preparing a turkey for Christmas either... just have something to eat that doesn't take so long to make. (And preferably not meat ).

Oh for crying out loud, everyone doesnt have to go on holiday just cos people at banks want to have a day off so waht, its an excuse to have a day off... big deal, breeds satisfaction and satisfied people are more productive...there, finished.
