I watched this weeks before last weeks because I was on holidays and hadn't downloaded the previous one by yesterday. I knew it was going to be a two parter because that's just my luck

Anyway, wonder who River is and when she'll be back! And how did she know his real name?

I wish there was more spoilers for this show

The fact that she knows his name worries me. Like he said, there's one reason and one reason alone that he would ever tell anyone his actual name. What that reason is, I dunno..
But hang on, hasn't he forgotten it? That's what Reinette said two seasons ago.
Continuity, Mr Moffat! You wrote that episode too!

And I like that I have no idea what's going on. It makes me feel good when I work it out.

From what I gather though, of River and the Doc, David Tennant's tied to being the Doctor for a long time because she never said anything about him looking different. *fingers crossed*

Ah but she knows him so very far in his future. It could be like a paradox - she knows his name, so she tells hims, now he knows it, then later on whenever she turns up, he tells her, so that later she can go back and tell him and... ow, brain melt.

Very intriguing story line, this one. The little blue book book that looks like the little blue box... Cute, I want one. She says he's young - and i'd imagine in 'Time Lord' years it would take some time before his eyes look old, old enough for her to recognise him... It does make me think though, that eventually he would grow 'old' and find someone with whom he shares moer than mere 'adventures' - not kinky or anything, just.. She seems more than a companion. Talks in a different way to him, about him.. Yes I can't wait to see where that goes, but something tells me TV land will not be the one to explain those possibilities. To the word of fanfic I say!

Yeah, that is a good point.. well, he's confirmed for the specials in 2009, but not the series in 2010. *hopes*

but at the same time they might not show their relationship onscreen and even if the doctor was changed further down the line, he is a time traveller so all the stuff that happens could happen off-screen between now and when they change him.

Though hopefully he'll stay around for long so that won't be an issue!

I saw the two parter... Rather enjoyed it... The missus was screaming at the fact that River wasn't revealed as to who she was... I'm fairly sure they'll reveal it at the end of the season, or next year... I don't think they'll keep fans waiting too long.
