I have been playing it non-stop for the last 5 days. The graphics are amazing. Gran Pulse is amazing.

So, yeah, Nintendo won E3 this year. Let me recap for those who don't know:

For the Wii:

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I've read nearly all the impressions from those who actually played the game, the controls are being reported as 100% accurate other than the bow, but they have until next year to work out all the kinks. So I'm really looking forward to this.

Metroid Other M

A mix of third-person/first-person and a mix of side-scroller/3D. Overall it looks pretty fun. Word from those who play it: Nothing on story but the gameplay and combat is great.

Donkey Kong Country Returns

This game comes from Retro Studios, the company responsible for the Metroid Prime trilogy that spanned from the Gamecube to the Wii. What I saw had me impressed.

Wow, just wow. I loved this game no the 64. Bravo, Nintendo.


Nintendo 3DS:

The best thing about E3 is the new incarnation of the DS.

Absolutely every single person who has had their hands on this thing all say the same thing: The 3D looks exactly the same as it does in Real3D theatres. Without glasses! And it had a "slider" to allow you to set how "3D" it looks. You even have the option to completely remove it, although I don't know why you would.

The graphics are improved as well, meeting and sometimes exceeding PS2 graphics. Also they are in the works for getting the rights to get 3D movies as well. They had trailers for How to Train Your Dragon, Tangled, and another 3D movie.
