RDA, BB, CB, DB, CJ in Oz this weekend - Gaters.net

I didn't see a specific thread on the topic and considering it's 3am, I'm on my iPhone and don't have my glasses, I'm not trawling through other threads to see if its come up.

What I will do however, is find out who, if anyone at all, is going to see RDA in person at the melb or syd stargate cons? I'm going mostly because I'd eat off my own arm if I missed seeing ben browder and Claudia black on stage together, and seeing an SGU cast member (David blue aka Eli Wallace) should be fucking cool.

Anyway, there are other peeps going, chris judge, David nikyl or whatev his name is, Dan Shea, ummm people. Google their names and 'sydney' and it should tell you more

should be quite an experience, fan or not, to meet RDA in the flesh and see such a huge gathering of main cast.

So, anyone? Chams? Anyway, whatever, look me up if you go to the Sydney one.

i got a pleb ticket, which even then wasn't cheap, but its gonna be worth it for that line up. I've paid much more for much less in the past.

Got a photo with RDA, as well as an autograph. Just got standard tickets for 4 people... came to about $900

Yeah i heard about it last year and sooooooooo wanted to go RDA being the person I'd cheat on my bf with. But fuck me for that price I just can't do it. Thats bullshit the prices they charge and all I could have afforded was a seat in the back prob right behind the lady with the dead bird on her hat and next to the sticky jaffa who looks like his never carried a staff gun in his life.

The Melbourne one was freaking awful. Delay after delay, RDA getting sick, people pissing away their opportunities by asking amazingly stupid and boring questions (RDA was more interested in playing with his coffee than answering some of the questions that were asked).

Worst of all, it took like 6 hours to get through all the autographs (I would assume, I left after 2 and a half hours after I got mine).

Yeah I can tell just from the internet that most stargate fans are massive retards and would ruin the whole experience

YOu could tell when they had a whole list of things that you couldn't ask or couldn't do and what you would get kicked out for that it was gonna be a blow.
