Default Shops in Dublin

So my sister is going to be living in Dublin for the next 5 months. The apartment she is in doesn't have any cooking facilities. Can anyone tell me where she can buy like a electric fry pan and maybe an electric oven? Just wants like a shopping centre/ department store like the westfields we have in australia

And, in Dublin, do they have, like, toilets and stuff?

oooh where abouts in dublin is she living? Not that I am anywhere close to dublin anyway (ireland defination of close, by aussie defination of close we're next door neighbours!)

Argos is v.handy for picking up smaller things for a house (delivery on larger items might be awkward) - http://www.argos.ie

Really though there's a million and one shopping centres and retail parks in or around dublin so she'll have no problem finding what she needs somewhere relatively close. Any retail park in the country should have at least one electric and appliances shop. Usually Curry's.

And yes there are toilets - there's one massive public toilet we call Templebar

I'm planning a trip to Dublin too! Whilst we're on the subject... can you confirm whether or not they have cars in Ireland, or is it all still horses and stuff?

Shes in Merrion. Though she doesn't have a car so shes only been able to find the afore mentioned shops walking around. I'll tell her to look up the shops you mentioned Thanks.

depending on where she lives she mightn't be able to get to a retail park for some of the larger appliances, but there should be an argos within walking distance. She'll probably have to end up using the bus or luas to get around anyway.

WHAT! Dublin's shite, even the Oirshish admit it. Overpriced is a fuddin understatement, the crack is, well i've mentioned it before but its overpriced and shite. Its not like i'm saying Glasgow is better but it is better and cheaper. And I've got an amazing flat within walking distance.

tl;dr Dublin's shite, and overpriced, and I have a flat within walking distance. (of Glasgow city centre)

Yeah she found a argos. Bought a grill. Was spun out that they don't have a shop floor just pick out of the books.
Thanks for your help TAZ everyone else you all suck balls.
Her BF plays professional cricket so they didn't really care where they went. Ireland is as good as anywhere else for development.
