nor do I but i kinda liked her in continuum. Which was strange for me... I would still wish her all the best though, and i don't think atlantis would have given her that.

She became second fiddle in Atlantis and all the morons who liked that show better resented her for being there. They should have realized that without all her heard work there would BE no Atlantis for them to be all elitist about.

Still, Sam/Ronan, would have been a great ship.

err... I disagree... Atlantis was going grand before Sam came along.

It seemed like they just threw her on there to either keep the character, milk out any leftovers of a contract, and\or to pull over any SG1 viewers that didn't watch Atlantis.

But Atlantis was doing ok without her. What Atlantis fans resented was the fact that an established Atlantis character was pushed out of the way just so they could pull over Sam Carter. And to make matters worse, they barely seemed to capitalise on her as she had less screen time than Weir did.

And surely they can't keep Woolsey as the base leader, that guy gets all nervous and fucks everything up, what the hell kind of qualifications does he have to be a leader..

although I knew it already, spoilers!

At least he is a character who we can see grow as a leader, and he will add conflict. We had already see Carter grow a great deal, and she was pretty much the exact same as Weir. They never cashed in on her military and scientific background at all really. They made her exactly the same as the person she replaced.

somehow it doesn't seem like a spoiler to me because Woolsey becoming the leader was predictable and had nothing to do with the plot of the episode at all, it was kind of tacked on as a teaser for what's coming.
As far as I know, Woolsey may not even be in the next episode. They could just have some other guy, and be like "oh yah Woolsey quit before this episode started..."
