Recent Hack Attack - Gaters.net

The 'hacker' was what is commonly known as a script kiddie. They used an off the shelf PHP Shell exploit, probably against a vulnerable out of date script on the site. vBulletin was up to date, so it must have been something older (and believe me gaters' public_html folder was full of crap). It's now been cleared out and security tightened a bit. Shouldn't happen again. I'll also be moving host to the one run by taz when my current contract runs out so things like this can be sorted even faster in future.
