So, how many of us game here at gaters?

I just recently beat Gears of Wars 2 and have been hitting up the wingman multiplayer, and at a rather unhealthy dosage these past few days too... (I suck so bad at it. A lot more to it than other first-person shooters.)

What do you play?

Well Litch King just came out. Pack that along with Mirror's Edge, Fallout 3, Little Big Planet, Left 4 Dead, and Dead Space, I might just drop out of Uni.

I started playing WoW on the first day, no joke. I go through phases where I will play it constantly then up and quit. Right now I'm in the latter phase so I haven't been able to purchase Lich King. I know it has to be excellent. I mean this is Blizzard we are discussing. I use to be HUGE into Starcraft. I can still go back to that game and have a blast. Looking forward to the sequel but I'm so impatient and Blizzard always announces things like 3 years before launch...it seems...

I'm also in the process of trying to afford Mirror's Edge (played the demo and loved it), Fallout 3, and Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts.

I don't think Little Big Planet is worth the purchase of a PS3. (Although the Blu Ray player is... but I still know I can't afford it.)

I suppose I've started gaming more since I got the old PS3 and iPhone.
(though if you look at the shoutbox oftentimes I can't be arsed to make the effort to play).
Usually have a COD4 gaming night with friends every so often, bit of Resistance FOM, I'm waiting on my copy of Killzone 2 to come out in a million years.
Oftentimes I just throw in a Bluray since it's less effort :p.

The surprise has been the iPhone, use it to play more casual games than I did with the PSP... i.e. I actually do use it.

Mirror's Edge, CoD5, Fallout 3, Fable II, Wrath (haven't touched it yet, been working). Also, Left 4 Dead demo was hilarious.. the lads in the flat were screaming like girls.

Bought a WotLK collectors ed. Haven't installed it yet...too busy doing old skool achievements!

Also have Guitar Hero:World Tour that I'm chipping away on. Refuse to touch Left4Dead - I'm a girly girl and hate horror survival games. Basically Valve made an entire game out of Ravenholme from HL2 - pass.

With me just getting an e-mail saying they're enforcing unpaid leave over the week of Thanksgiving, I guess I'll be playing more games very soon. :/

Just downloading End War demo off the US Playstation Network now.

I'm REALLY looking forward to the new Prince of Persia, anyone seen videos for it? Looks amazing.

LBP is fuckin' awesome, though.

Lies. Visually, it's gorgeous, and it's such fun. Sack Boy is so cute!
But in terms of value, LBP is the only game really going for the PS3.

pah, there loads that's worth it on the format, though at the moment I'm on a bit of a saving mode, bar preorders that are yet to be executed.

I was thinking ever since I heard about the game that I would love to play it but it was only on ps3.

Looks shiny - I was at the Ubisoft launch party in SF the other night. Didn't really do much beyond drink their alcohol and got seriously fucked up. :)

As far as gaming goes, I'm still having fun w/ Oblivion w/SI/KOTN, replaying with different classes is always fun. I've got a friend who insists I should smoke some WoW with him but I fuck ass about enough already. I don't need any more reason to not work.

I am back playing The Sims (now on Apartment Life). Was playing Oblivion but haven't bothered finishing it (for the second time with SI etc) as got a bit bored. I'll probably go back to it when my boyf stops complaining about me hogging the tv all the time...

I'm not really into multiplayer games but would anyone here be interested in maybe getting a few small games of Enemy Territory 1 going? It's free...

I'd play war games but the flashbacks are just too much.

Bought an xbox 360 3 weeks ago (2 weeks before the fucking price drop!)... Got gears of war 1 today... I freaking LOVE IT!

If you bought it less than a month ago, return it.

Yup, that's from the beta which isn't as good as the finished product... apparently.

Either way it'll be nice to finally reach the pinnacle of the next gen three and a half years after I started getting a woody over the game.

I've had my Xbox 360 for about a year, bought it used from my cousin, and I've never once had an error...

Don't think Ristle (my mate) has ever had an issue with his 'box either. But tbh that's debatable with the new update coming Wednesday. I predict much woe for all.

The update is the new X-Box Live home hub thing that's basically a rip-off from PS3 and Wii.. you get to make your on little avatar type thing, basically a Mii. Still, we'll see, I guess.

But lets get back to the important stuff, which is Killzone 2 and how awesome it will be.

I wonder if they'll ever bother coming out with Home. if it's a semless way to do the whole online gaming thing plus some Playstation Store thrown in along with the tie-in to online music/movies it'll be worth a look.

Home is gonna cost money and be compulsory, though. Bad times.

I also doubt it will be compulsory (as in a compulsory interface)... Unless you have hard info otherwise.
