The Ravan Bar/Party Room
http://www.theraider.net/theraven/
Theraider.net has a VBulletin Forum like this one does. It is called The Raven. It is an Indiana Jones forum that accompanies the best Indiana Jones Fan site out there. One day a user by the name of Ameera turned up and started what was called The Raven Party. The post was like a little story. She made out like The raven was a real bar. The minute that post was made another user showed up and made a reply to that post. And then she replied, then someone else replied and so on. By the end of the day the biggest thread had been created ever on that forum. The next day another thread showed up, called, "Saturdays Party" and the next day another one called "Sundays party" and the beat went on and on and on until I guess the Off topic (MISC) forum got a bit filled up with junk. I guess the mods decided to open up a new forum within the one they had, they called it "The Party Room". Basically it was where the Raiders went on to just idley chat. I know this is not a chat room and it is a forum for discussion, bit I put it you moderators that perhaps we should ask The Keeper if there would be chance of having some type of forum like The Raven Party Room here at gaters.net. Obviously we would name it differently if this was to happen. Something like The Breifing Room or The Tok'Ra High Council Forum. Just something to give it a kind of Stargate theme even though the discussion would probably not be Stargate, but just laid back discussion. After 10 days there would be no need to keep or lock threads. They could just be plain deleted. It might be an equal compromise.
