In my experience though, (which has admittedly only been three people, two from here, not including Bose) people do generally leave, if they post it seriously. Wait, actually, not hat person on the other forum wasn't actually dead, so ... Flyboy and g8 girl are the only two examples ...

Bose is getting his account killed though, isn't he, so may just never want to reregister. And there's less motivation to lurk if you know you can't post.

flyboy and g8 girl left?
a) they were newbies in the first place
b) they didn't kick up a stink when they left
c) they obviously haven't been gone very long.

Longest case I know was 2 years before someone came back.

I'm not saying Bose is or isn't gonna come back, g8 girl made a thread about it, she had issues, I think, which she had to deal with, and Flyboy made a dramatic speech and stalked out one night, I think he thought we were all flaming him.

So, everyone is optimistic about Bose returning, or at least someone impersonating him?

The best way to leave is to just make an Ordinary post one day and then stop posting. After a while we will forget about you until you turn up again and then we'll all be like, hey where did you go? Just look at W505a or The Ash Man! So it's just one post and then you're outta here like Cort.
