How about setting up a homepage for channel #stargate on the IRC? We could have a home page with a java Applet on it then perhaps we could have other sites and get them to install the Java Applets on their sites and have like a weekly chat, Trivia and all the other cool ideas that Offal and Goa'uld came up with? The main home page could also be like a portal site to other sites that have an irc Java Applet to get into the channel. I know that If I could get StargateFan.com to support the idea and gater Forums could have their own applet that would be different from the home page. Gaters could be among one of the links on the portal sites. So what do you think? I don't mind setting up the homepage and getting word round to other sites like StargateFan.com and so on.
