Sound The Bugle - The team?s heart & soul is gone, as is their leader?s faith and courage. When Jack seeks solitude in the hours following Daniel?s death, it?s Sam who must help him see that sometimes it?s okay to feel lost and that he?s not alone.

Somethin' I started a while ago and only managed to pick up and take to completion tonight. Feedback is always much appreciated. Alot of effort went into this one to finally get it past page 3 .

Nice story - sad but comforting at the same time. Good exploration of the various ways of dealing with grief.

This story was great in that it showed the emotion that the eps never showed in relation to the death of Doctor Daniel Jackson. A great read I enjoyed it.

Aww many thanks. I'd wanted to write something based on the events of Meridian for a while but never got around to taking it past it's 3rd page. Must've been the grief-factor, lol. Now all I hafta do is avoid the anti-Jonas vibe in writing the next one...could be a tough one.
