Kevin Bacon is supposed to be linkable to anyone, he was in Wild things with Neve Campbell, and she was in the scream movies, and that movie with Chandler from friends, and, er, wasnt bjork on friends once, and she sung with David arnold and he did the score for Stargate?

Dammit! I don't know him all that well!
Ok, he was in All the President's Men with Tom Cruise who was married to Nicole Kidman who was 'friends' with Russell Crowe who was in The Insider with Robert DeNiro who was in Meet the Parents with Ben Stiller who was in Something Zero (can't remember the full name) with Bill Pullman who was in ID4 which was directed by the people who directed Stargate, the movie.

kevin bacon starred in apollo 13, alongside this mission control bloke (forgot his name) who also played a mission control bloke in armeggedon... also, colonel cromwell from season 2's "matter of time" was an astronaut in armeggedon

Kevin Bacon was in Apollo 13 with the baddie from Ransom (the guy in Apollo 13 who couldn't go up cos he might have had the measles) with Mel Gibson, who was in The Patriot which was again directed by the guys who did Stargate.
