Goauld would win because they would lock themselves away in sarcophagi until someone else whipped the Borg ass.

I agree wtih alex8472. Borg would be able to just go in and destroy all the super huge guys all in one fatel blow, like the Tokra tried in Summit, and then deal with the little dudes after the big ones are gone. they could probably be able to destroy all the goa'ulds in one day. i would not be suprised at all. The borg all the way.

The Goa'uld are masters of genetics and the employment of biological warfare. They could very likely develop a viral contagion that will affect the Borg by either destroying their organic components or denying the neural binding between organic and machine.

The Goa'uld possess the genetic memory of thousands of years of experience in long-fought warfare. They'd know how to pull it off.

I'll be damned if these Trekker nerds win the day...

Remember, Species 8472 was able to kick Borg ass purely from their biological technologies, being the most evolved and genetically dense creatures ever encountered. Goa'uld surely fit the same league.

lol..see, the problem is *shudders some more at this thread*...

The problem is is that theyd really wipe the floor with these pathetic Goa'uld

They simply cannot adapt fast enough, and are clueless.
Lets say it were to happen... a single ship and its crew would be assimilated and from there its easy for the rest of their empire to fall.
the fact that they possess genetic memory would be an absolute treasure trove for the borg, just get one of the countless stray jaffa and youve already got yourself a ready made book on a huge chunk of goa'uld tech and knowledge.

Absolute power, a dream episode, but pretty accurate id say, Daniel got all the knowledge, in a year, earth could easily defend itself against attack. The Borg? give them a few minutes,

Ofcourse, if Kate mulgrew were to play a system lord, theyd have no chance whatsoever

Wrong. Species 8472 use organic vessels. They grow there vessels and every single inch is purely organic with a ultra responsive immune system which makes them highly adaptive.

The Goa'ulds ships do not posses such bio armour or weapons. In short they are not good enough to fight the Borg.

Besides, they eventually staved off 8472, even if it wasnt all their own work

Indeed. The Borg eventually adapted there Nano-Probes to pass into the 'blood' stream of a Species 8472 vessel undetected. (with the help of Voyagers EMH)

There is also the fact that the Goa'uld vessels we see are existent in the 20th/21st century. The Borg vessels we are describing are in the 24th century. They have had for more time to advance and perfect there technollogy.

When the Borg assimilate a race they gain all the knowledge of that race and they have assimlitated hundreds of thousands of planets. There fore they have the memories/experinces and knowledge of all of those races. In effect they would have around 100, 000 methods to kick the crap out of the Goa'uld.

The Replicators would be an effective weapon for the borg. They could reprogramme them and equip them with assimilation tubes. If the Replicators get shot up then....Send in the DRONES!

Id think that they could just utilise the attributes the reps have in various fields in their overall level of technology.
The way they regenerate etc.
