hey my freind's doing a debate and she asked for my help. i'd like to get your opinions. she's for the motion 'the celtic tiger is still alive' and yes i am aware that there's piss all irish people on this forum, but i wanted to get non-irish opinions aswell.

Since I didn't know what the hell the Celtic Tiger was, I looked it up on yahoo.

I have no advice to give, but this website had some pretty good info IMO.

If he's the one who does the budget, yeah. I mean specifically last years though. And what he had to do this year to make up for it (bus fares etc being hiked up, no more free fees, and blah de blah).

The economy of Ireland, if you want reference and such, should be compared to that of another successful nation. The US, the Brits, The Candadians...germans...french...NOT the russians....not the chinese...maybe the japanese....

I found the best thing in debate is teh fact that you simply need to soundlike you know what you are talkingabout and what you are talking about is basically the word of God....(ominous lightning crackel in the sky above me)
