The Warrior (Yes there will be spoilers)

Warrior was excatly as I'd expected, bad. I really hated Teal'c in it! Suspected the guy was a goa'uld from the nogotiations bit in the tent.

And, just to annoy Puddy and Mac, Jack called someone son! That's gotta mean he's getting (ahem, is) old! *runs away real fast*

Right! That's it Casper! Outside now!

It was so obvious that the guy was gonna be an evil overlord type. And I was actually glad when Teal'c got hurt: he was being such a dick!

I liked it! Good to see Racnor and Yu, some nice continuity and liked the fight scenes. Okay it was this seasons 'Teal'c's' leaving' episode which bugged me a bit, hope it gets a follow up.

I have to admit, I totally didn't suspect he was a Goa'uld, tho I thought he had just seen what the Goa'ulds found so appealing about pretending to be gods. But
1)How'd he get all those Jaffa to *magically* join his cause?
2)Why bother, and not just assinate them?
3)But Imhotep's not a god!! I mean, egyptology wise. Well, he is kinda, I suppose *mumbles to self* seeing as he got elevated to that kinda status after his death for being such a good builder guy, and had a cult yada yada yada, but they coulda gone with a proper god, like well, any god from Anhur to Taweret, and maybe slipped in a bit of mythology... What was that symbol supposed to represent anyway? Nowadays they just seem to draw any old thing on their heads... unless it's somethingto do with architecture... *Looks up again* Anyway, um, yes, good ep, if a little frustrating, I think they shoulda done a little more aftermath, and SG1's reaction to Teal'c behaviour. And anyone thinking... filming style... Matrix? Fighting style... Mummy Returns?

It was the same with Cronos, and Yu, both are shades of grey characters that you like one minute but hate the next. I must have switched off somewhere, but why did Yu let Teal'c go? He must have known he would go and get the Jaffa off the planet before his own ship arrived and attacked.

Yu, in many people's opinion, is the "unbaddest" of the bad Goa'uld. Which made me think that he's a prime target to get killed and have SG-1 framed for his murder (and thus revoke the Protected Planets Treaty). But seeing as to how many deaths of System Lords that SG-1 has been involved in, I realized that if my idea were true, Earth would have been pounded flat by the Goa'uld a long time ago.

Well, Yu didn't really have anything to lose, cos Imhotep might've turned out to be a bigger threat if Yu hadn't sent him to kill him. And it's not like Yu has a personal vendetta against Teal'c. Does Yu even remember Summit/Last Stand?

Rhydderch - Good idea, I'd laugh if that came up as a plot line. Is the protected planets treaty the one in Fair Game, or has there been a more recent one?

KC didn't like it. I wonder why? I liked it. I liked the opening speech. I did not try to think that He was a villian. I wanted to believe he was fighting for good. And so I became an optomist during this episode. However as it went on I believed that by Teal'c and Bra'Tacs facial expresions even they believed something was not right.

The photography in this Episode was very good. I think that the guy the hired to play Imhotep was specially trained in Martial Arts. I would like to see this new Photography developed. It's very good. The series is constantly trying to do feature film type visuals and stories and it is being done well here. I would like to see some type of battle done with this type of Photography except it would be interesting to see a battle between two Goa'ulds with hand devices. And it should be saved for the feature, if there is to be one.

I enjoyed the funny opening line. It was just out of nowhere. Jack said something about Deliverance and asked Bra'Tac if he had seen what happened in that film. I thought this was so funny. No really. You know Ronny Cox was in that film also?

I liked Raknor's character and enjoyed seeing him once again. And I am Glad that Yu is not dead as well. I've always believed him to be the most honourable of The Goa'uld, albe he still a Goa'uld he is certainly the unbaddest as was mentioned several times above by some members.

I liked it as well. Now, excluding the obvious thing of the guy being bad, it kept me glued to screen to see what happens next. I remember when I heard the name Imhotep, I went, "Wow, Mummy flashback!"

In my opinion, I think Yu, at the moment, is one of the least bad recurring Goa'uld. I think if they bring him up he could be as menacing as Chorus, or even Sokar. But then again, in terms of mythology, it ain't so bad.

The guy who played the 'charasmatic jaffa' / Imoteph I have seen somewhere before and it is doing my head in trying to remember what it was, anyone know which actor he was?

I just couldn't get where Teal'c was coming from. He was pretty much willing to abandon SG1 for this charismatic leader for the good of his people. Blah, blah. Yeah, but he knew the team of jaffa-cakes before him had gone on a suicide mission.

Come on, when Jack said, you're leader material, he's going to send you on a suicide mission, why didn't he listen? He's trusted the guy as his commanding officer for the last 5 years, does he not at least have a passing respect for his instincts???

And what about his his mentor, (long day, can't remember it right now) didn't he have an ounce of sense either??????

Just weird. Plain weird. Sorry but it was.

So leader guy was a big bad goauldy. What a surprise. I thought Sam and Teal'c had some sort of spidey sense with them. Or was that just me?

Mini rant over, back to scheduled programming.

Unfortunately, the spidey-sense doesn't seem to be able to distinguish Jaffa from Goa'uld. At least, the spidey sence of Jaffa and former hosts. Methinks that a Goa'uld would possess enough psionic ability to determine if the Goa'uld symbiote in a person was in their stomach or in their head.

It has been noticed that in every season, Teal'c gets an episode where he tries to leave the gang. In Season 1, it was at the very end when the program was shut down (almost doesn't count).

Season 2, Teal'c leaves when the rest of SG-1 turns up missing at the very end (episode "Out of Mind").

Okay, there's nothing in Season 3. On to Season 4, where Teal'c opts to leave the SGC so he can shack up with Shau'nac and stir the?umm?rebellion. (then again, giving up military lodgings for a chance to be with a gal who looks like Shau'nac, I can't blame the guy).

Yeah, good point. Maybe if they sensed anything, they just thought it was his symbiote?

what was all that ridiculous firing at the end? orbital bombardment, didnt seem like fighters, especially the way it was shown, no fighter sounds etc, angle, they went from 200 megatonne blasts with pinpoint accuracy to little splurts that are badly aimed into the open shrub land surrounding the gate and village lol.
