Enough evidence to actually prove it exists?
Thats not the point.

I'm not asking for proof, I'm asking for any evidence to even suggest that these multi-chambered brain whatsies are not just a figment of someones hyperactive imagination

The physical evidence i have to support this is that Thor has a cranial ridge which if u follow it, leads into two partially separated lobes.

OK, back to topic...

I don't think there's any way to know if they have multi-chambered brains. Some thoughts come to mind by Anubis's idea:

1) Is multi-chamber better than, say... single-, or dual-chamber?
It's like comparing the old Amiga Computers (4 sub processors make up total processor) to the present day classic Intel design (single mamma processor). Which is better? You can probably make arguments for either based on specific functions.

2) Is it even possible to alter your own genetic makup that much?
I mean, we're assuming that having the ability to do genetic stuff, like cloning and growing body parts, etc. translates into being able to re-make oneself. It seems a bit far fetched. It's like the Asgaard say "hey, lets make a whole new body, then transfer our consciousness into it." They'd have to make that decision by throwing out the door all their previous success in their current form... all based on an idea they have of what they should become?

3) Maybe they never modified themselves... maybe they just started off with multi-chambered brains.

Who knows? This will never leave the pure speculation stage.

Im sure they dont. If they did then im sure their technological advance-ment would be much less than even the Tau'ri. When u think about it (with your non-multi-chambered brain) you start to see that if the lobes where separated then the time for the electrical impulses to travel from lobe to lobe would be marginally increased. Thus they would not have advanced mathematical propeties of thought.
The Az'gard have just increased their brain capacity and by doing that have given their brains more processing speed. Just a term u can understand. If you have ever seen a nural computer, then u now what im taking about. more vats of brain fuilds and u have a better transmision, better latency, less errors, better better, better.
