the frist movie had russlle, sg1 to the public has nonames or macgyver, and i dont care if its be reported that there will be a movie made , farscape was reported to have a 5th season,
things change and the people making the reports thier eyes were bigger than thier stomaches for, but i hope im wrong

Well if something like Jackass can make it to the cinema then im sure an SG1 film would.
Farscape was diiferent because it was run by about two different companies, MGM have already given the green light for a film.

I'd say that the film wouldn't do spectactularly well, but then that depends on the amount they publicise it. I'd say it it'd probably skip smaller cinema's and in the extreme, be a straight-to-video release.

Straight to video is quite simply an insult, and shouldnt be done for something like SG.

I hope that it would only happen in some countries, where they wouldn't show it in cinemas due to the small fanbase.
