I can see where these people like Jonas are coming from, but in my opinion they are acting a bit high and mighty. Ok, there are some people who are annoying jow and then, but does tht mean this?

I wouldnt want to be associated with these people myself and. If they want to seperate themselves then they see that they're better than everyone else and well thats just not fair. The whole thing about the internet is that it is boring. I know for one if this was implemented then I would not be given a password to this forum and even if I was I would rather talk with the locals than the mr upities.

If this was implemented I might force myself to leave.

Don't you think it sounds elitist? I mean wouldnt it better just to ask to cut down on Spam, or come down harder on Spammers?

I for one am pissed off enough with the spam. If we can lock them out, all the better. It's not elitist, it's just discrimination against idiots, which I don't have a problem with.

I agree with Indy.
Who decides who gets to post in the 'special' forum? *snorts* Not only that, but how are they supposed to be able to prove they're not a 'spam king' or 'juvenille kiddy' if all the 'intelligent' threads are hidden from them. The idea is snobby and elitist, and almost offends me. Almost :P
Ok there are spammers and twits around, but that is part of the internet.

yeah.. i think you'll find that most people who have some kind of clue as to what theyu are talkng ahout will post in the appropiate thread. Make it too indepth and secret society - what happens if someone new comes along who has the intellegence and insight to nake additions?
how will they know to find it?

Don't like it. We have an in-depth forum to seperate the crap from the good, if users feel it isn't living up to what they need, we should attempt to bring it up to scratch instead of having this exclusive club they think will solve problems.
