Reminds me to try this idea: the Goa'uld invade Las Vegas. Tourists posing with Horus and Serpent Guards on the Strip; System Lords losing their life savings at the craps tables; a Goa'uld capital ship lands right on top of the Luxor hotel; and Apophis poses with Sigfreid and Roy and their white tigers.

(no DHD in the second picture: ) right, because when I did that picture I hadn't yet completed modeling the DHD.

(the other ideas: ) yeah, and I thought of capturing a "0900" TV ad and replacing the phone number by chevron symbols and make the girls' eyes glow... the caption would say "why the goa'uld came to earth" ;-)
or a picture of a stargate standing deep in a muddy pool with a sign in front saying "welcome aliens" ... hee hee...

and, goodness, i have a ton of ideas how to use palm-sized stargates in the household - like, as trash cans etc.... i really need to start making those into pictures...

oh, by the way, does anyone have a chevron-symbols TTF font which is a bit less erroneous than "Tommy" 's ? I want to get those symbols right.
